Once trapped in linearity, Lualdi now lives its grim past, its torrential present, and its cataclysmic future all at once. Second by second, the region marches towards a seemingly inevitable apocalypse that is shrouded in enigma not for what it will do, but why. The answers to the mysteries surrounding the impending calamity may lie deeper in the reaches of time than any may expect -- and somewhere with them is the answer to if Lualdi can even be saved or if it should be abandoned to its fate. But whatever you do, do so quickly... The apocalypse will not wait for you to make up your mind.
As the forest of Vuldan City makes it hard to build substantially large buildings, the Abigione Prison is mostly underground. Its lobby and visiting room are the only parts of it above ground, almost offensively normal in the see-through walls so guards can monitor prisoners outside of their cells. The remainder of the jail is a twisting subterranean labyrinth of passages where tree roots break through. Only the elite guards are said to know the full layout of the prison to prevent lower-ranked personnel from aiding in jailbreaks, willingly or not; Abigione Prison is the holding prison for many of Lualdi's most notorious criminals, and every inch of this prison, even the most hidden away passages, is carefully monitored and controlled by the unrelentingly wary police force.
